Salvatore Lapone, 91, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home on November 27, 2012.  Salvatore was a US Army Air Force Veteran during WWII and worked for Ozone Confectioners Inc. in Elmwood Park.  Beloved husband of 65 years to Eleanor.  Devoted father of Dorene Pampanin, her husband Andrew and Carole Lapone.  Loving grandfather of Lisa Ann Ventola and James Ventola.  Dear brother of Patrick Lapone and Louis Lapone.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 RIdgedale Ave. Florham Park on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.  Funeral on Friday assembling at the funeral home at 8:45am followed by a mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am.  Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
