Winifred V. Panzner (Mendes), “Winnie”, 99, of East Hanover, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on February 1, 2021.
Devoted mother of Dr. Elizabeth A. Panzner, Michael P. Panzner and his wife Lisa. Cherished grandmother of Samantha Weller, her husband Zachary, and Zachary Panzner. Dear sister of Richard and Rita, loving niece Barbara Mendes and children Garnee and Peter Mahseredjian. Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Winnie is pre-deceased by her husband Radimir Panzner, her parents Louise & John Mendes, and her siblings Adrah and George.
Winnie is best known for her gourmet cooking and baking - especially her beautiful Christmas cookies, but above all, for her unending devotion to her cherished family. She will be remembered as a loving, gentle and tender mother, grandmother and aunt, and a loyal friend to many.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday from 9:30am – 11am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11:30am. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and capacity limitations, visitors are asked to pay their respects and then kindly exit in order to make room for others to enter. Masks are required and social distancing is to be practiced whenever possible.
