Willard P. Lambert, Jr., “Bill” / “Brubby”, 82, formerly of W. Orange, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of 61 years to Lucille (Fioravante) Lambert. Devoted father of Michael Lambert, his wife Karen, Robert Lambert, his wife Melissa, John Lambert, his wife Raquel, Lisa Andre and her husband Rui. Cherished grandfather of Lauren, Justin and Danny, Angelica, Felicia and Carissa, Matthew, Marissa and Gabrielle, Brianna, Alyssa and Rui. Proud great-grandfather of Nicholas, Lucas and Valentina. Dear brother of John “Jack” Lambert.
Mr. Lambert was born and raised in Newark, NJ and raised his family in West Orange, NJ. He was an Electrician with IBEW Local Union 52 for 40 years, before retiring from Local 164 in 2002. After retirement he and his beloved wife Lucille retired to Fort Pierce, FL where they spent 20+ years, before a recent move to Moorseville, NC. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as vacationing in Aruba with family each year.
Bill was pre-deceased by his parents Anna Gertrude and Willard Paul Lambert, Sr., and his sister Joan Walcott.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral on Saturday, assembling at the funeral home at 9am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 10am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
