Virginia K Hahn

Virginia “Ginny” K. Hahn, 90, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2022.  Virginia was born in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from Carnegie Mellon University in 1953.  She married Raymond H. Hahn in 1954, who proceeded her in death in Dec. 2003. 

Virginia moved to Florham Park in 1969, where she helped raise 4 children and later worked and volunteered for the School Loan Program at the Morris Museum in Morristown.  She was a treasured employee/volunteer who built many boxed exhibits that were loaned to schools all over the area.  Virginia was an active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Florham Park, where she taught Sunday School, served on many committees, helped with decorations in the sanctuary, and sang in the choir. 

Virginia became a member of the PEO, Chapter AB, in 2005.  This Philanthropic Educational Organization provides scholarships and educational opportunities for female students.  Virginia served in several roles during this time, including Vice-President of the chapter and Chairman of Scholars Awards. 

Devoted mother of Mark Hahn, his wife Sally, Carol Hatton, her husband Jim, Linda Kennon, her husband Bruce, Matthew Hahn, and his wife Wendy.  Cherished grandmother of Jaime, Brandon, Chrysa, Brittany, Jeffrey & Kyle.  Proud great-grandmother of Kendall & Ruby.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Saturday August 6, 2022 from 12-1:30pm.
