Steven H. Trombecky, age 72, passed away in the arms of his family at home on the dawn of Tuesday morning July 18, 2003, after several years of battling heart disease. Steven was a loving father of one son, Joseph Trombecky, and a loving husband to Carmen Trombecky.
Beloved husband of 32 years to Carmen R. Trombecky. Devoted father of Joseph Trombecky. Loving brother-in-law and best friend of Lulu Revuelta. Dear brother of Laura Goldberg and her husband Edward. Proud uncle of Shayna Goldberg. Brother of Bruce Trombecky. Fond nephew of Myra Donahue and her husband Jack. Dearest friends of Gary and Annemarie Fleming. Steven was pre-deceased by his parents Stanley and Marilyn Trombecky.
Steven was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1950 to Stanley and Marilyn Trombecky. Steven married his wife Carmen on October 12, 1991, who loved him dearly throughout their marriage. Steven spent the last 12 years of his life in his home in East Hanover, New Jersey. A hardworking and loving man, he provided the world for his family and was the rock to the Trombecky household.
Steven was known to be charismatic and friendly, always making friends wherever he went. He gave light to family, friends, and anybody he met with his humor and ability to show love to others. He never stopped learning and working on his hobbies as he enjoyed writing, working on his garden, and being a cook. He never wasted a second of his day, as he was always looking for something to do.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday from 4-8pm. Funeral on Friday, assembling at the funeral home at 8:30am, followed by the funeral mass at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Orange at 10am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
