Stephanie Bravoco (Kaber), 96, of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Edison, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2022.
Stephanie grew up during the depression in rural Pennsylvania. She was a brave woman, who moved to NYC to join her older sisters when she was only 16 years old. Stephanie lived a simple life and had a love for gardening and baking, and was the true definition of mother first and foremost. Stephanie was a loving and devoted grandmother. Her grandchildren were precious jewels worth more than diamonds! She was doting, present & made the best memories.
Devoted mother of James Consolantis, his husband Joseph Oroza, Nicholas Bravoco, his wife Carisa Bravoco, Jack Kaber, Debra Bravoco-Forbes and her husband Joel Forbes. Cherished grandmother of Brianna and Dominique Bravoco, Timothy, Michael and Madison Forbes. Proud great-grandmother of Cassidy and Michael Donoghue. She was also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Stephanie was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Nicholas Bravoco, her loving parents John and Rose Kaber, and was the last surviving of 9 siblings, including her brothers Matthew, Steven and John, and sisters Mary, Kathryn, Anna, Veronica and Pauline.
The funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Church in Florham Park, NJ on Friday at 10am, followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
