Splendore Grasso

Splendore Grasso (nee DiAntonio) 97, of Roseland formerly East Orange, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 30, 2018. Splendore was a saleswomen for Bamberger’s in Newark for many years. She was also a past president of the Rosarians and Bingo assistant for St Joseph’s Church of East Orange. Splendore will be remembered as a great cook and baker.

Beloved wife of the late Crecenzo Grasso. Devoted mother of Arleen and her husband Anthony Sannitti, Christine Grasso, Donna Grasso and the late Michael Grasso and wife Donna. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer and her husband Tom Scully, Dominique and her husband Rob Calvert, Laura and her husband Chris Bava, Nicole and her husband Jeremy Groover and Michael and his wife Amanda Grasso. Dear great-grandmother of Landon, Kaylee, Kinsley, Colby, Chase, Aubree, Colette and Emilee. Sister of Vito DiAntonio, Albert DiAntonio and the lates Michael and Daniel DiAntonio.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.  Funeral on Saturday assembling at 8:45am followed by a mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am.  Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
