Sanda P Schramm

Sanda Patricia Schramm, 74, of Manasquan, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2021 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ.

She was born March 29, 1946, in West Orange, NJ, a daughter of the late Patsy and Marie Saggese.

Sanda graduated from Marylawn of the Oranges Academy.  She continued her education at the College of Saint Elizabeth where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and History.

In 1968, Sanda married the love of her life, Robert Schramm, and later moved to Florham Park, where they raised their three children. She was a lifetime member on the Florham Park Volunteer Memorial First Aid Squad for over 28 years.

Sanda was on faculty of St. Vincent Martyr School in Madison, NJ for 25 years until her retirement in 2019.  Most recently, Sanda was an active substitute teacher in the Manasquan, Brielle, and Spring Lake, NJ school districts.

Sanda is preceded in death by her parents, Patsy and Marie Saggese, her birth mother Angelina Grosso Timmons, as well as her siblings, Robert Trivisonno, Terry Timmons, Sean Timmons and Cyn-Dee (Timmons) Guerra.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert M. Schramm; by her children, Nicole Kelly and her husband Tim, Kathleen Dwyer and her husband Jack, and by her son CPO Brian Schramm (USN) and his wife Rachel.  She also leaves behind six grandchildren, the loves of her life, Jeremiah and Timothy Kelly Jr., Sarah and Meghan Dwyer, Michael and Emma Schramm. Also, she is survived by her sister Kathy Timmons Potenza, as well as many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
