Obituary

Rocco N. Caivano, 93, of Florham Park, formerly of Millburn, passed away peacefully at his home on March 4, 2022.  Rocco was a Sergeant in the United States Army and worked over 45 years with the Carpenters Union Local 620.  He was an active member and usher at Holy family church in Florham Park for many years. 

Father of Donna Aprea, her husband John, Lisa Caivano and Matthew R. Caivano.  Grandfather of Johnny, Anthony and Elizabeth.  Brother of Joseph Caivano.  Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Rocco was pre-deceased by his wife Philomine Caivano, his parents Saverio & Assunta Caivano, and his siblings Carmela Moschella, Nicholas Caivano and Daniel Caivano. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 11th at St. Rose of Lima Church in Short Hills from 10-11am, followed by the funeral mass at 11am.  Interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Avenue, Short Hills, NJ 07078, or Holy Family Church, 1 Lloyd Avenue, Florham Park, NJ 07932.
