Robert J Bottone

Robert J. Bottone, “Bobby”, 72, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025.

Bobby was known and loved from Newark to Rockaway and in between. He participated in many sport leagues. He worked for the city of Newark in Planning and Grantsmanship and was a Recreation Director. He worked for Fedway Associates as a Liquor Salesman for over 30 years.

Devoted father of Brianne Gorman and her husband David.  Cherished grandfather of Rosalee and Annalee.  Dear brother of Michael G. Bottone, Linda Morano and her husband James.  Also survived by his former wife and dear friend Linda Bottone-Hodnett and her son Matthew, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 Bobby was pre-deceased by his parents Michael P. & Anna M. Bottone, and his sister-in- law Laurie Bottone.

The memorial visitation will be held at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Tuesday, November 25th from 4-7pm.  The funeral mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover on Wednesday, November 26th at 10am, followed by the inurnment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
