Raymond J. Stefanacci, 82, formerly of E. Hanover, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025.
Ray was born and raised in Clifton, NJ. After high school he joined the army and served during the Vietnam war while stationed in Germany. He was a proud patriot and veteran. Ray worked his entire career for Wilson sporting goods as a salesman. He loved his work and excelled in sales, winning many awards over his 40 year career.
Ray had many interesting hobbies. He loved to travel, fishing, football, photography and more than anything spending time with his family. He was a devoted family man. He always put his family first. He was the Beloved husband of 55 years to Marie (Guancione) Stefanacci. Devoted father of Lisa Stefanacci, Cindy (Stefanacci) Ciervo and her husband Robert. Cherished grandfather of Ella, Leah and Jake Ciervo. Dear brother of Janice Marotta. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday, May 22nd from 4-7pm. Funeral on Friday, May 23rd, assembling at the funeral home at 10:15am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in E. Hanover at 11:15am. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in E. Hanover.
