Peter J Metsopulos, Jr

Peter J. Metsopulos, Jr., 75, of Newton, formerly of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024. 

Pete was a self taught guitar player and continued to play into his 75th year of life. In earlier years Pete proudly rode a Harley. Pete enjoyed concerts, golf and vegetable gardening. After retirement Pete developed an interest in cooking which was soon recognized as another exceptional talent. 

Beloved husband of 39 years to Debbie Metsopulos.  Devoted father of Brittany Metsopulos and Scott Metsopulos.  Dear brother of Patricia Beek, Pam Montgomery, her husband Gregg, and Cindy Lee.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Peter was pre-deceased by his parents Peter J. and Ora Grayce Metsopulos. 

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Wednesday from 11am – 1:30pm, followed by a prayer service and burial at Hanover Cemetery in E. Hanover at 1:45pm.
