Paolo Cubeta, 102, of Whippany, NJ, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023.
Paolo is survived by his devoted son Salvatore Cubeta, daughter Angela (Cubeta) Casiero and her husband, Vincent Casiero. He is also survived by his beautiful grandchildren Christina, Dana, Daniel and Joanna and great grandchildren Josephine, Roman and James.
Paolo was predeceased by his dedicated wife of 74 years, Paola Cubeta.
Paolo was born in Sicily, Italy on March 27, 1921. He met and married Paola and later migrated to the United States in 1951, settling in Orange, NJ. Later in life, he settled in Livingston, NJ and eventually moved to Whippany, NJ. Initially, he was employed as a construction worker for PSE&G and later he founded his own landscaping business, which he maintained until he was retired. Paolo was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman and could always be found in his backyard garden. He enjoyed playing games with his family and friends, especially cards. He also had a passion for making fresh tomato sauce and ricotta cheese.
Burial was held privately.
