Nicholas Di Rienzo, “Nick,” 60, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 22, 1966 in Newark, NJ.
Nick graduated from Hanover Park High School and attended Seton Hall University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He began his professional career working for NJM, AIG, and Prudential before becoming a real estate agent. Over the past 20 years prior to his illness, he worked for several firms including Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Sotheby’s, and Weichert. Through his dedication, he helped many people find their dream home and built lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
Nick was a devoted New York Mets and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed golfing, watching the Seton Hall basketball games, and following Italian soccer. Proud of his Italian roots, he loved traveling to Italy to visit his relatives and enjoyed his mother’s home-cooked meals. Nick’s greatest joy was spending time with his daughter, Julianna, and cheering her on at all of her events.
Beloved husband of 21 years to Francesca Nobile Di Rienzo. Devoted father of Julianna Di Rienzo. Loving son of Caterina Di Rienzo. Dear brother of Angela Di Rienzo. Son-in-law of Assunta Nobile. Brother-in-law of Rose, her husband Ralph, Lucia, her husband Ben, Susie, her husband Sal, Vincenza, her husband Sal, Frank and his wife Maria. Uncle of Hunter, Carmela, Giuseppe, Michela, Gina, Raymond, Marco, and Sofia. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Nick was predeceased by his father Felice Di Rienzo, his father-in-law Frank Nobile, and his nephew Ethan DeClemente.
He will be remembered for his bright smile, generosity towards others, and love for his family. Though he will be missed dearly, his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday, July 30th from 3-7pm. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 31st, 9:30am at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, followed by the Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
