Natalie Powell, age 87 of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. Born in Orange, N.J. to Furie and Catherine Powell, she was one of 11 children. Natalie grew up on Chapman Street, surrounded by her tight knit family, which included brothers, sisters, cousins and many other relatives.
Natalie spent 37 years dedicated to working at PSE&G and afterwards retired, enjoying many years with her friends, family and especially her long-time loving companion, Joe Harobin. She enjoyed senior outings, gardening, travel, dining out, shopping and Mahjong. She was a devoted parishioner of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Florham Park. Natlie is survived by her dear sister Barbara Bittl, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The nieces and nephews will miss their trips and luncheon dates with her.
Natalie is predeceased by her loving, long-time companion Joe Harobin, her parents Furie and Catherine Powell, and her siblings Annette Renga, Anthony Powell, Furie Powell, Marie Iuzzolino, Frank Powell, Joe Powell, Rose Powell, Sylvia Roznoy and Audrey Murphy.
The memorial funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Church in Florham Park on Wednesday, September 24th at 10am, followed by the inurnment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
Donations can be made in Natalie’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the World Wildlife Fund.
