Michael J Lambusta

Michael J. Lambusta, 88, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023.

Mike resided many years in Newark before living in Rockaway.  He was the former owner of Lambusta Liquors in Newark for many years, before working as a security guard for the NY Jets.  Mike was a long-time member and trustee of the Florham Park Elks and member of the East Hanover Italian American Club.  He enjoyed horse racing, but mostly loved spending time, dinners and vacations with his family.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Devoted father of Louis Lambusta and his wife Denise.  Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Cassidy, her husband Patrick, Kristen Griffie, Nicole Lambusta and Michael Lambusta.  Proud great-grandfather of Colton and Ryan Cassidy.  Dear brother of Nancy Masterson.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Mike was pre-deceased by his wife Santa Lambusta, his daughter Michele Griffie and his brother Pete Lambusta.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Wednesday from 10-11am, followed by a prayer service at the funeral home at 11am.  The interment and committal prayers at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover will follow at 11:30am.
