Mary R Pallante

Mary R. Pallante (Bradbury), 85, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2020.  Mary was born and raised in Newark and was a long-time resident of East Hanover. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish, East Hanover.

Wife, Mother, Big Sister, Aunt, Godmother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Daughter, Friend, Advocate, Teacher, Mentor, Big-Hearted & Strong of Will and Conviction…Mary graduated from Caldwell College and attended the University of Hawaii for post-graduate studies. She was a Social Studies & Humanities Educator, starting her career at Broadway Junior High, Newark, then Weequahic HS, Newark, continuing her career at Montville HS, until retirement.

Mary was named as a Master Teacher and New Jersey Teacher of the Year. In her retirement, she mentored student teachers at St. Elizabeth College in Convent Station. She also was a volunteer CCD instructor at St. Rose of Lima School in East Hanover.

She is survived by her son Paul and his wife Frances, daughter-in-law Tracey, grandchildren Michael, Jessica, Nicole and Daniel, great grandchildren Jack, Caroline and Audrey, brothers Joseph and Albert, sisters Catherine, Ellen and Joan, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends whom she treasured. 

Mary is pre-deceased by her loving husband Michael, her sons Michael and James, brother Philip, and parents Rita & Joseph Albert Bradbury.
