Martin A. Milano, “Marty”, 81, formerly of Newark, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024.
Marty was the hardest working man we ever knew. His number one goal in life was for his family to have it "better" than he did. By instilling that dream, and the work ethic behind it, into everyone he met - he changed many lives. Always quick to help anyone in need, he would give you the shirt off his back, his ear to listen and his love to get you through.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Linda Milano. Devoted father of Dr. Marc Milano, his wife Roberta, Danielle Esteves and her husband Scott. Cherished grandfather of Dean and Devin Milano and Katelyn Esteves. Dear brother of Mary Ann Kovac and Camille “Chickie” Troncone. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Sunday, September 15th from 1-4pm. Funeral on Monday, September 16th, assembling at the funeral home at 10am, followed by the committal prayers and interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in E. Hanover at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marty’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, see donation box below for details…..
