Maria Spiniello

Maria Spiniello (D’Archi), 83, of East Hanover, formerly of Union, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2020.  Maria worked many years as a seamstress with the Women’s Garment Union. She could easily be spotted in her signature leopard prints and heels. Maria was a devoted catholic, an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, being noted for her Limoncello and Espresso. However, her greatest joy was spending quality time with her loving family.

Beloved wife of 64 years to Annibale Spiniello.  Devoted mother of Ivana Ciccone, Elisa Martino, her husband John, Marisa Marano and her husband John.  Cherished grandmother of Nicholas Ciccone, his wife Ann Marie, Pasquale Ciccone, his wife Danielle, and Anthony Ciccone, Maria Iovino, her husband Joe, Gianna LaForgia, her husband Jonpaul, Giovanni Martino and his fiancé Samantha, and Gianni Marano.  Proud great-grandmother of Gianluca, Vail Marie, Anthony, and Santino and her granddoggies, Noocho and Bocce.  Dear sister of Carmela Testa, Rose Guerrieri, Lucia Montalbano, Anthony D’Archi and Cristina Ferrante.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and relatives in Italy.

Maria is pre-deceased by her parents Sabato & Elisa D’Archi and her siblings Benimino D’Archi, Clorinda Giordano and Virgilio D’Archi.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday from 9-11am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11:30am.  Entombment at Restland Memorial Park.  The funeral mass will be available to view online by copying and pasting the following link to your browser....  saintroseoflimachurch.org/livestream-mass

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and Occupancy limitations, visitors are required to pay their respects and then immediately exit, in order for others to be able to enter the building.  Masks are required and all are asked to practice social distancing when possible.
