Luningning V Revuelta

Luningning V. Revuelta, 89, of East Hanover, NJ, formerly of Stratford, CT., passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after years of battling lung cancer. Luningning was the loving sister of Carmen Trombecky and loving Aunt of Joseph Trombecky.

Cherished sister of Carmen Trombecky.  Loving aunt of Joseph S. Trombecky and Maria Theresa Tagle “Cheese”.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Luningning was pre-deceased by her parents Mauro and Leonora Revuelta, her sister Amor R. Tagle, and her sister Aurora R. Callicoat, and her brother in law, Steven Trombecky.

Luningining was born in Quezon, Philippines and moved to the United States in 1966, where she received her degree in Education and finished her Masters in education. She taught with the Stratford Connecticut education system for 30 years before moving with Carmen and Steven Trombecky, who she lived with for 25 years.  

She lived with and raised her nephew Joseph Trombecky since he was born in 2000. From taking him to school and back through his childhood, to teaching him as he grew up, Joseph considers her a second mother. 

Luninging was known to be giving to others without question, giving her time, money, and love to those who were dear to her. Luninngning was an elegant, gracious, and precious part of the people’s lives she was a part of. She was a loyal, devout Catholic as she always put God first in her life, leading a prayer group for 20 years and believing in God’s power through the hardships she endured. 

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday, April 24th from 4-7pm.  Funeral on Friday, April 25th, assembling at the funeral home at 11am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Vincent Martyr Roman Catholic Church in Madison at 12pm.  Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in E. Hanover.
