Lucille S. Pizzichiello, 86, of Whippany, formerly of West Orange and Bronx, NY passed away peacefully on October 27, 2023 with her loving family by her side.
Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, sister, and daughter who cherished her time with family and friends.
She loved to cook, do ceramics, take trips back to her neighborhood on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, and spend time in Long Beach Island with her family. Lucille made everyone feel like they were family. She adored animals, and they absolutely reciprocated.
She was predeceased by her husband Jim, her daughter Tonay, her son Larry, and her parents Lorenzo and Melvina. She will join them in eternal happiness.
Devoted mother of Jim Pizzichiello, his wife Fran, Kim Knauss, and her husband Ted. Cherished grandmother of Staci, her husband Herb, James and his wife Robyn, Dominque, Amanda and Larry, Michael, Carly, and Nicholas. Proud great-grandmother of Harrison and Lunamae, Dominick, Olivia, James and Anthony. Dear sister of Evelyn Rasero. Lucille was also survived by her daughter-in-law Nancy, Mary Vragolic and Dana Bamber, known as her other daughters, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, her dog Lola, and cat Chickie.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Monday from 4-7pm. Funeral on Tuesday, assembling at the funeral home at 9am, followed by the funeral mass at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls at 10am. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lucille’s name to the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover.
