Lucille C Ford

Lucille C. Ford (Gizzo), 88, of East Hanover, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Lucille was born in Orange and raised in West Orange where she graduated from West Orange High School.  She met the love of her life, Rich, when she was 12 years old.  They got married when she was 18 and soon started their family.  Lucille worked for the Township of East Hanover for over 30 years where she was the Municipal Court Clerk.   Her greatest joy was her family and preparing an Italian Sunday dinner.  She loved reading mystery books, crocheting, being with friends, and going out to dinner.

 Devoted mother of Nicholas Ford, his wife Barbara, John Ford, Richard Ford and his wife Karen.  Cherished Granny of Cailtin, her husband Aayush, and Ricky.  Dear sister of Paula Massaro.  Also survived by many loving family members and dear friends.  Lucille was predeceased by her husband Richard Ford of 62 years.

 The funeral mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover on Wednesday, February 18th at 10:30am, followed by the entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
