Louise Martinelli, 87, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Louise was the ultimate “tough cookie”. A proud Italian American mother, who was deeply loving and the heart of her home. Always willing to help others in any way she could, she embodied strength and selflessness.
Louise dedicated her life to her family. She adored each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Time together meant everything to her. She enjoyed cooking, celebrating the holidays, or simply gathering around the table for coffee and conversation.
Louise is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Richard Martinelli; her son Fred Martinelli and his wife Maria; her daughter Denise Mondo and her husband Vinnie; grandchildren Gina, Richie and his wife Bianca, Gabrielle and her husband Jonathan, and Vincent; great-grandchildren Jonathan and Joelle. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her greatly. Louise was predeceased by her parents, Alfonso and Angelina Condito, and her sister, Margaret Koval.
Visitation will be held at Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park, on Tuesday, January 20th from 4:00–7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 21st, assembling at the funeral home at 9:00 AM, followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
