Louise G Finelli

Louise “Dolly” Finelli (née DeAngelis), passed away July 26, 2025, a week after celebrating her 93rd birthday with family and close friends.  Her husband, Michael, passed away in 2007 and she is predeceased by 2 grandsons.

She was a loving mother to 8 children: Louise (and Mark) Merclean, Ralph (and Mindy) Finelli, Maria (and Manuel) Xocoy Louis Finelli and Marissa, Michael (and Gloria) Finelli, William (and Christine) Finelli, James (and Patricia)Finelli, Steven Finelli and Jeannette.  A cherished grandmother to 19 grandchildren - who called her Ganny and Grandma, an adored great-grandmother to 16 great-grandchildren - who called her GG, and her wonderful Aide/Caregiver Anna.

She and her family owned several pizzerias previously in Cedar Knolls, Florham Park and finally in Whippany.  Dolly also worked as a cashier/hostess at the Whippany and Florham Park Diners for years.

She loved reading, the NY Yankees, playing the lottery and visiting casinos in Atlantic City and Mt. Airy. 

The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st at St. Vincent Martyr Roman Catholic Church in Madison at 10am, followed by the interment at St. Vincent Cemetery in Madison.
