Louis S. Casolaro, 90, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2022.
Born in Orange, NJ, he honorably served in the US Navy from 1950-1954. Lou served his community for 35 years in the Department of Public Works for the town of West Orange. He also owned a landscaping business to help support his family.
Lou was devoted to his wife & lived for his family. He enjoyed Atlantic City, gardening, the NY Yankees & Giants, doing jigsaw puzzles, family dinners and watching his children & grandchildren play sports.
Beloved husband of 68 years to Constance “Babe” Casolaro (Lombardi). Devoted father of Louis Casolaro, his wife Linda, Anne Ioannides, her husband Charlie, Dominick Casolaro, his wife Cathy, John Casolaro, his wife Karen, Thomas Casolaro, his wife Michelle, Paul Casolaro and his wife Carmalina. Cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Lou was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, cousins and dear friends.
Lou was pre-deceased by his parents Luigi & Concetta, his daughter-in-law Angelina and his brother Thomas.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Tuesday, April 12th from 4-8pm. Funeral on Wednesday, April 13th, assembling at the funeral home at 10:15am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11:15am.
