Lorraine Pizzano

Lorraine Pizzano (DiLorenzo), 97, passed away peacefully at her home in East Hanover, on March 14, 2025. 

Lorraine previously lived Down Neck, where she worked as a beautician and then in South Orange, while working at the Essex County Welfare Board in Newark. 

Lorraine was a devoted mom to Dolores Polito, Sam “Butch” Pizzano and his wife Kathy.  She adored her grandchildren, Mike Pizzano, his wife Laura, Rachel Pizzano, Nick Polito and Joe Polito, and her beloved great-grandchildren Anthony “A.J” Pizzano and Mia Pizzano.  Lorraine also leaves behind her sister Marie Testa, many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her family of friends from East Hanover.

Lorraine was pre-deceased by her husband Sam, her sister Lucille DiLorenzo, and her parents Rose (Cavico) DiLorenzo and Nick DiLorenzo. 

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday, March 20th from 4-7pm.  Funeral on Friday, March 21st, assembling at the funeral home at 10:30am, followed by the committal prayer service and entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover at 11:30am.
