Linda J Modrowsky

July 7, 1952 – November 1, 2025

Linda Modrowsky, aged 73, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025 following a very long battle with breast cancer. 

Linda was born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Irvington, NJ where she graduated in 1970.  She attended and graduated from Drake Business College and began her business career at NJ Bell as a stenographer.  She stayed and grew within the Bell System, later promoted to management and worked many years at ATT and Lucent Technologies.  In the early 2000s, she took early retirement but continued working in a variety of Property Management and Administrative Assistant positions.  She loved being involved for many years with the people in her condo association in Bridgewater, NJ.

Linda was known for her friendliness and big smile.  She always greeted you with a big hello and many questions about your health and family. 

Linda loved and would do anything for her niece Tanya and nephews Andrew and Alex.  Linda was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Helen Modrowsky.  She leaves behind her brother John Modrowsky, sister-in-law Kathleen Modrowsky, sister Andrea Tanz, brother-in-law Dr. Warren Tanz, niece Tanya Tanz and her husband James Holmes and nephews Andrew and Alex Modrowsky.

Linda was one of a kind.  She had a big heart and a big personality.  She will be greatly missed by all who have known her.
