Lina Kachouh-Baladi, 63, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on June 25, 2024.
Born and raised in Lebanon in a large loving family, Lina attended school, made lifelong friends, and met the love of her life with whom she raised their two lovely children when they moved to Canada. In their early 20s, Lina started a physiotherapy career which she pursued for 20 years. When their family moved to the USA, determined as she was, she pursued a new career in real estate and began teaching French and Arabic language lessons to young kids. The couple’s life took a unique turn when they moved to Japan and Singapore, living in Asia for 7 years before coming back home to New Jersey, reuniting with their children at last. Throughout her whole life, she built a remarkable circle of friends with whom she traveled, learned and explored, and whom she loved and was loved dearly by.
Beloved wife of 41 years to Jean Francois Baladi. Devoted mother of Olivier Baladi, his wife Sabine, Pascale Baladi and her husband Patrick. Proud grandmother of Sophie. Dear sister of May, Rosy and Loutfi. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Lina was pre-deceased by her parents Fouad and Lily.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Friday from 4-7pm. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, 9am, at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, followed by the entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in E. Hanover.
