Leonard (Lenny) Anthony D’Addario, 81, of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025.
Born and raised in Newark, N.J., before moving to Union, N.J., to raise his family. Lenny enjoyed spending time at the Jersey Shore and watching the NY Yankees and NY Giants. He had a love for dogs, but enjoyed nothing more than surrounding himself with family and friends. Lenny was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Margaret D’Addario, his brother, Robert D’Addario, his sister, Margaret Gallo, and his daughter-in-law Daniela D'Addario. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Janet (Marinelli) D’Addario, his son, Michael D’Addario, his daughter-in-law, Clare D’Addario, and his son, Louis D’Addario. He was the proud grandfather of four grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as “Pop-pop”: Gianna and Siena D’Addario, and Alexa and Michael D’Addario. Lenny is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
