Ken grew up in New Providence, NJ, and attended Summit High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a crew chief stationed in the Azores and later graduated with honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Ken was a man of many interests and talents. He was a champion weightlifter, winning the Mississippi state championship in 1964. He later became a competitive pistol shooter on the N.J. State Pistol Team. He was a proficient musician who played in an Irish folk band and later in a rock band. He was also a skilled artist and voracious reader.

Beloved husband of 54 years to Doris (Mato) Parker.  Devoted father of Susan Parker, her husband Greg Berzolla, Jonathan Parker and his wife Sarah.  Proud grandfather of Abigail and Ellie, Emma and Charlotte.

Kenneth was pre-deceased by his parents Frederic and Joan (Rixon) Parker.
