Kathleen Grace Della Valle, 72, of Montville, formerly of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, with her daughters by her side.
Kathy was an amazing mother, grandmother, companion, friend, and dedicated nurse for over 30 years, compassionately caring for her patients in home care settings.
She was the matriarch and guiding light of her family, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was a selfless woman in every way, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own, with quiet strength and care.
She found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments: caring for her beloved dog, Bailey; traveling; cheering at baseball games; dancing with a full heart; and listening to the music she loved. Above all, she found her greatest happiness in her children’s success and her grandchildren’s accomplishments.
Her greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely, the memories she created, and the deep bond she shared with her family. She will be remembered always for her generous heart, gentle spirit, and the endless love she gave to those lucky enough to know her.
Devoted mother of Danielle Ann Della Valle-Zaist, her husband Jeffrey, Nicole Grace Acevedo and her husband Leo. Cherished grandmother of Graycen and Sebastian, Jayden and Justin. Loving companion of Juan Laguna. Dear sister of Peggy and Bunny. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Kathleen was pre-deceased by her husband Richard Della Valle, and her parents John “Jack” and Grace Turbett.

Funeral on Friday, April 10th, assembling at the funeral home at 9am, followed by the funeral mass at Holy Family Church in Florham Park at 10am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
