Josephine T Passalaqua

Josephine T. Passalaqua (Caracciola), 79, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026. 

Josephine was a beloved vocational school reading teacher who later built a successful career as a ceramic artist, business owner, and teacher, working from her studio in Newark, New Jersey. She went on to serve as company manager for MTG Productions, bringing interactive theater to audiences across the country, and also worked for many years in real estate. Deeply committed to service, she was active with numerous charities, including Halos for Angels, Inc., giving generously of her time and care to others."

Devoted mother of Margo Neely, her husband Matthew, and Nicole Passalaqua.  Cherished grandmother of Alessandra and Thomas Neely.  Dear sister of Theresa Canning and Fred Caracciola.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael T. Passalaqua and her mother Philomena (Pino) Caracciola. 

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Tuesday, February 24th from 9:30am – 11:30am, followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
