Joseph J Intrabartola

Joseph J. Intrabartola, 82, of Springfield, formerly of Union, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2023.

Joe was a retired firefighter of 25 years. He was known for his charming smile, and firm handshake. He loved to fish, cook, garden and bake. He most treasured spending time with his family, especially if it was Christmas Eve, making the seven fishes or Easter, making his famous Pizza Gaina. He will truly be missed, and never forgotten.

Beloved husband of 48 years to Gail (Petrucelli) Intrabartola.  Devoted father of Marc Spagnola and his wife Lisa. Cherished grandfather of Robert Joseph and Alexa Spagnola.  Dear brother of Maryann Grunwald, her husband Don, Joan Koenig, James Intrabartola and his wife Valerie.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Joseph was pre-deceased by his parents Vincent James and Rose Intrabartola. 

A memorial visitation will be held at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Monday, July 10th from 4-7pm.  The inurnment will be held at the New Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover on Tuesday, July 11th at 11am.
