Joseph S. Giordano, Jr., 70 of Hollywood, Florida, passed away suddenly on October 4th, 2025.
Born in Orange NJ. Joseph spent his childhood years growing up in East Hanover where he graduated from Hanover Park High School. He was a proud member of the Hanover Park Hornets Football Team, earning high honors and loved being in the Friday night lights. He was a true car enthusiast who enjoyed working on his hot rods, listening to his oldies music and spending time with friends and family. He had a lifelong passion for cooking making his chicken savoy and classic Italian dishes for his friends and family. After high school, he moved to Hollywood, Florida, but returned often too New Jersey to visit family and friends. When Joey settled in Florida, he followed his culinary passion cooking in restaurants and became a Miami Dolphin fan. Though he was modest and frugal with himself, Joey was endlessly generous with others. His kindness, humor and giving spirit touched everyone who knew him. He will live on in our hearts and memories forever.
He is survived by his loving partner in life and always at his side, Mary Walter, his beloved brother Anthony Giordano of Hackettstown NJ, his sisters Joni Hiltz and husband Robert of East Hanover, Judy Giorgio and husband Joseph of Florham Park. Dearest Uncle to Jennine Blanchard, Anthony Giordano Jr, Anthony Giorgio and Jesse Giordano.
Joseph is predeceased by his parents Joseph S. Giordano, Sr. and Lucille Giordano (Accetturo)and his loving brother Richard Giordano.
A memorial visitation will be held at Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Saturday, November 1st, from 12-2pm.
