John Petrozzino, 100, of Cedar Knolls, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
John was born and raised in the First Ward section of Newark, NJ. After marriage, he raised his family in Union, NJ, prior to retiring to Cedar Knolls, NJ. John spent most of his professional working career at Lionel Corporation-Hillside, NJ and Western Electric/AT&T-Union, NJ. He finished his career working for JFK Medical Center-Edison, NJ.
Devoted father of John Petrozzino, his wife Beverly, Robert Petrozzino and his wife Ana. Cherished grandfather of John Gerard, Nicole and her husband Christopher, Joseph and Alexa. Proud great-grandfather of Christian, Nicholas and Valentina. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
John was pre-deceased by his wife Mary (Ferrara) Petrozzino, his parents Peter and Mary Petrozzino, his brothers Michael, Attilio, Carmine and Salvatore, and his sisters Antoinette, Mary, Geraldine, Nicolena and Anna.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral on Tuesday, assembling at the funeral home at 9am, followed by the funeral mass at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls at 10am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
