Vincent “Jimmy” Blasi, 86, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Jimmy was born in Newark's First Ward and grew up in a traditional Italian American Family. Eventually he went on to a rewarding and successful career as a union electrician and was a proud member of the IBEW Local Union #164 for over 50 years. Jimmy enjoyed all things electrical and building related. No job was ever too small and he was happy to help anyone. He enjoyed spending time with his Elk brothers at lodge 815 as well as his buddies in the electrical union. Most of all he enjoyed his family and his grandchildren. He never missed any important milestones in their lives and his legacy will live on through them.
Beloved husband of 49 years to Deborah Blasi. Devoted father of Jaime Vitulli, her husband Domenic, Frank Blasi and his wife Corie. Cherished grandfather of Drea & Domenic Vitulli and Vincent Blasi.
