Jeffrey C Knauff

Jeffrey C. Knauff, 79, of Mendham, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Jeffrey was the beloved son of Carl and Elaine Knauff and grew up in Pennsylvania alongside 2 brothers and a sister. While attending the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), he met the love of his life. After earning his bachelor's degree, he went on to serve as a first lieutenant in the United States Army.

Jeff built a successful career as a creative director at an advertising agency. In his personal life, he loved working on his home in New Jersey. He was an avid golfer, a devoted Penn State football fan, and most importantly a grandfather who treasured every moment with his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of 55 years to Carol Knauff.  Devoted father of Kathleen Adams, her husband Kenneth Adams, Christine Knauff and her husband Brian LeVine.  Cherished grandfather of Jerey, Makenzie, Elsie and Lily.  Dear brother of Kay DePaolo.  Also survived by his loving dog Misty, and many nieces and nephews. 

Jeffrey was pre-deceased by his parents Carl and Elaine Knauff. 

Jeffrey will always be remembered for being the quiet one with a big heart. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
