On September 2, 2019, our family lost a magnificent soul, James L. Poggioli, or as we knew him-Jim, Jimmy and Baby. He was a man of very few words but showed us unconditional love through everything he did for us. His favorite things in the whole wide world included he and his daughter, Adrienne’s adventures to Home Depot, to eat BBQ, Red Hut Diner, or numerous otherfood places. His amazing devotion to caring for Adrienne was shown on the days she couldn’t walk or talk; he never complained. We will miss the countless times he came home from work and called for his puppy, Kessa, before us or accidentally called us Puppy. He touched the lives of everyone around him and they came away being better people for having known him.
He loved his daughter Devon wholeheartedly. His spouse, Weslea, was the love of his life as he was the love of her life and will forever remain her soulmate. He is also survived by many great friends, his father, James C. Poggioli and the late Patricia Poggioli, his Aunt Joyce and Uncle Vito, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members whom he loved immensely. He is also survived by his extended family at his job, USPS, whom he cherished deeply.
A celebration of life will be held at the Restland Memorial Park Chapel in East Hanover on Saturday, September 7th from 10-10:45am. No flowers please, instead, please use the money to donate to an animal shelter of your choice.
