James Anthony Guido, a lifelong resident of Verona, New Jersey passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
Jimmy was the longtime owner of Headworks Hair Salon in Verona, which he proudly operated for over 40 years before retiring in 2020.
Through his work, he built not just a successful business, but lasting friendships and connections within the community he loved. James was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Kind, respectful, and deeply caring, he was always willing to go the extra mile for anyone in need. His warmth, generosity, and genuine nature left a lasting impression on all he met. To say he will be tremendously missed is an understatement.
He is survived by his beloved brother Michael Guido, his sister Gloria Guido La Forgia and her husband Paul, His nephews Jonpaul La Forgia and his wife Gianna, Christopher La Forgia and his wife Amanda, and his cherished great-nephews Gianluca La Forgia, Santino La Forgia and Lorenzo La Forgia. James was pre-deceased by his parents Anthony and Marie Guido.
A private family gathering will be held in his honor.
