Helen W Nelson

Helen Nelson (Walsh), 82, of East Hanover, formerly of Kearny, passed away peacefully at her home on July 24, 2023, with her loving family by her side. 

Helen enjoyed a 20-year career in accounting at Nabisco/Kraft Heinz in East Hanover and Parsippany.

Devoted mother of Karen Nelson, Kathleen DePiro and her husband David.  Cherished grandmother of Al and Jack DePiro.  Dear sister of Dolores Carey and sister-in-law of Virginia McCorry.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. 

Helen was pre-deceased by her husband William J. Nelson. 

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday from 11am-12pm, followed by the committal service and interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover at 12:30pm.
