Giulio De Martinis, 86, of E. Hanover, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on December 9, 2024.
Giulio was born in Italy, then went to Venezuela at 15 years old to be with his brother to find work. Afterwards, he moved to Canada to be with his sisters before coming to America. In December of 1966, he met his sweet love Doris. They were married in 1967 and shortly after, he started his construction business. Giulio and Doris lived on Henry Street in Orange until 1974 when he built their house in West Orange. In 2004 they moved to East Hanover and lived out their beautiful marriage there.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Doris De Martinis. Dear brother of Filomena Del Grosso. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Thursday from 4-7pm. Funeral on Friday, assembling at the funeral home at 8:45am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in E. Hanover at 9:45am. Entombment at St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit.
