Gina Marie McCarthy

Gina Marie (Montrone) McCarthy, 39, of Stoneham, MA, formerly of Far Hills, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 17, 2022.

Gina attended Far Hills Country Day School as a young girl, Kent Place High School, Boston College, where she met the love of her life, and Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in NYC where she pursued her dreams of acting.  
Throughout her lifetime, her interests lead her down many paths of employment. Beginning with Print Media in Manhattan, Gina progressed to various real estate offices in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Finally fulfilling her passion in the financial industry at The Walden Pond Group at Morgan Stanley in Boston, MA.  Here, Gina achieved the title of Senior Registered Associate. Completing her life by tying the knot after 22 years with her lifelong love on August 16, 2021.

Gina was the type of person that could do anything she put her mind to.  In her leisure time, she enjoyed golf, tennis, skiing, singing, and especially dancing. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  

Beloved wife of Keith Gerard McCarthy, cherished daughter of Vinnie (Magnifico) Montrone, and the late Eugene "Gino" Montrone. Gina was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and her mother & father in law, Christine & Gerard McCarthy.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc. 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Friday from 4-8 pm. Funeral on Saturday, assembling at the funeral home at 8:45 am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45 am.
