Gail Sien Eineker, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 28, 2023.
Beloved wife of 36 years to Thomas P. Eineker. Dear sister of Lynn Recchia, her husband Nicholas, and Diane Recenello. Devoted aunt of April MacNaughton, her husband Scott, Tara Ford, her husband Erik, Nicholas Mario Recchia, Jr., his wife Allison, Anthony Recenello, Victoria Otto, and her husband Brian. Proud great-aunt of Dylan and Mia, Reese and Nicholas, III, and Everly. Also survived by her brother-in-law Bernie Recenello and her dear friends Irma Nieves and Dr. Monareih Keller.
Gail was an avid golfer for much of her life and truly loved the sport. She played a big role in teaching Nicky, Tara, Dylan, and Mia all how to golf. She could also be found watching Dylan play at his golf tournaments, rain or shine. Gail also had a passion for real estate and enjoyed attending real estate courses and finding investment properties.
Some of Gail’s favorite things included listening to Jimmy Buffet, spending time at her houses in Palm Beach and Barnegat, politics, and hosting holidays in her beautiful home.
Gail’s greatest joy was her family, particularly her nieces and nephews. She was involved in every aspect of their lives. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them and there wasn’t anything they ever wanted for. Our adored Aunt Gigi never missed a baseball game, often traveling hours to watch. She was always available to babysit and pick up kids from school. She loved baking cookies and spoiling everyone with trips to Toys R Us and Learning Express. Aunt Gigi was the best shopping companion and weekends spent at her house were always full of the best food, games of chess, and movies in bed. She was extremely protective of her family and a very loyal friend. Gail was one in a billion to all who knew her, and her loss will be felt every single day.
Visitation is at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Wednesday from 4-7pm. Funeral on Thursday, assembling at the funeral home at 9am, followed by the funeral mass at Holy Family Church in Florham Park at 10am. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gail’s name to Memorial Sloan Kettering, see donation box below for details…..
