Frank Peloso

Frank Peloso, 70, of Bryam, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on April 2, 2021.

Beloved husband of 48 years to Mary Jane Peloso.  Devoted father of Gina Peloso and her husband Cullen Roberts.  Dear brother of Marge Anderson, her husband Chris, Nancy Junay, Michael Peloso, his wife Anna Marie, Kathy Kubowitz, Theresa Peloso, her husband Joe Sarullo, Toni Finnegan and her partner Ted Patz.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and dear friends. Frank was pre-deceased by his parents Lena & Michael Peloso. 

Frank was the first born of a large family and lived his whole life in New Jersey. He met his wife, Mary Jane, at Glassboro State College and then received his Masters in Education from Seton Hall University. He had a 34 year career in education in the Newark School District beginning as an industrial arts teacher and then spending 17 years as an administrator of a vocational high school before retiring 15 years ago. Frank was a life-long learner and dedicated to education; inspiring his students as well as everyone he met.

Frank was a family man – he was proud of the accomplishments of his daughter Gina and was always up for hosting family gatherings and holidays. Frank was an avid outdoorsman with a special love for nature, gardening, hiking, and birdwatching. He was an enthusiastic hobbyist, and when not outdoors, he enjoyed cooking, reading, guitar, tinkering with things around the house, and making furniture for his daughter. In retirement, he and Mary Jane traveled the country seeing the most spectacular sights in almost all 50 states. Frank was an easy going, fun-loving man with infectious laugher. He unselfishly shared his passions with friends, relatives, and acquaintances alike. He was loved by and will be missed by all that knew him.  

Funeral services were held privately to the family.  The Entombment was held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
