Frank T. Gizzo, 87, of Roseland, passed away peacefully at his home on April 6, 2021.
Frank was a devoted husband, happily married to Betty for 64 years. Frank was a loving father to Frank, Kathy, her husband Joe, Karen and her husband John. He was a fun loving uncle, kind hearted brother, loyal friend and proud grandfather to Devin, Casey, Samantha, her husband Joe, Johnny, Dylan, Jackie, Sally, Mattison and Audrey Rose, and great grandfather to Stella.
“Grandpa” was the kindest, friendliest, classiest, happiest, sweetest, most thoughtful, loving and generous man we’ve ever known. We’re so very fortunate to have had him in our lives and we are better people for knowing him. We will always have the warmest memories of cheek pinches and the greatest pancakes in the world! We will forever be so grateful for Wildwood and the lifetime of memories we created there because of you. It was impossible to feel sad around him; he would always find a way to make you smile. Thank you grandpa, we love you and we will miss you. You will be in our hearts forever.
Frank was a genuine bright light, always with a beautiful smile and a gift to all those who knew him. His legacy is his family. Frank dedicated his entire life in honor and giving praise to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Frank’s genuine angelic actions of strength following his catholic faith in love made him the ‘truest of angels” . He will continue to be, in life everlasting, now his role as our guardian angel that will protect us and love us and be amongst us always by making a difference in our lives . until the day we too will be called home; we will reunite and together again forever living amongst all the angels in the Kingdom of God with our Father in Heaven. we love you dad and we thank you for who we are because of you; our father, Frank Gizzo, a true angel of God.
