Frances A Zarra

Frances A. Zarra, 85, formerly of East Hanover and Newark, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024.

Frances lived a life full of beauty and grace, a gift she shared with others through her time as a beautician at the salon she owned with her former husband James, and then later in life when she became a cosmetologist.  She enjoyed keeping up with fashion and was always the most stylish person in the room.  

She was a dedicated Mother who made a point to always be present for her children in school, sports, and life.  She was famous for her cooking abilities and hospitality which often led to a houseful of people she welcomed with open arms.  Her love for her family continued with her grandchildren whom she adored.

Devoted mother of Nicholas Zarra, his wife Ethna, Dina Marie Perrella and her husband Vincent.  Cherished grandmother of Nicholas Zarra, Jr. and Brenna Zarra.  Dear sister of James Diana.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

 Frances was pre-deceased by her parents Joseph and Frances Diana, her brother Rossi Diana and her sister Dorothy Diana. 

 A memorial mass will be held on Thursday May 9th at St Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11 AM .
