Eugene J Koster, Sr.

Eugene J Koster Sr., age 91 passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025 in Milford, Delaware.

Born in Irvington, NJ on March 16, 1934, son of the late John and Theresa Koster, Eugene was raised in Irvington, NJ and later resided in Union, Raritan Township, Oceanport, NJ as well as Lewes, Delaware.

Eugene was a Millwright/Foreman for Westinghouse/North American Philips retiring in 1986. He later worked for Jaguar Cars in Mahwah, NJ. He also proudly served in the Irvington Police Dept. as a Special Officer for over 30 years.

In addition to his parents, Eugene is predeceased by his loving wife Raffaella G. (nee Christiano), Koster and his loving sister Adele Searfoss, (nee Koster) and brother-in law Charles Searfoss.

Surviving are his brother and sister-in law, Raymond and Jo Ann Koster of Piscataway, NJ, and two sons Eugene J Koster Jr. and his wife Michelle of Little Silver, NJ and Edward F. Koster and his wife Angela of Lewes, Delaware; and his four loving grandchildren Peter, Christina, Christian, and Macallan Koster, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover, NJ.  The entombment to follow will be held privately to the family.
