Elizabeth “Betty” Bendick, 91, of Florham Park, formerly of Jersey City, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on March 11, 2021. Betty worked over 30 years with Central Railroad of NJ and Conrail before retiring. She was an active member of the Central Railroad of NJ Veterans Association and she enjoyed traveling, reading, bowling and spending quality time with her family.
Devoted sister of Mary Bendick and the late Michael Bendick. Also survived by many loving cousins and dear friends.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Monday from 3-5pm. Due to the covid-19 pandemic and capacity limitations, visitors are asked to pay their respects and then exit in order for others to enter the building. Masks are required and all are to practice social distancing.
The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, 11am at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Jersey City, followed by the interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in N. Arlington.
