Dolores M Liebl

Dolores M. Liebl (Polino), 90, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. Dolores grew up in Newark, NJ, on Chelsea Avenue with her parents, grandfather and three siblings.  She graduated from West Side High and went on to become an accounting assistant. She was proud of her work at an advertising firm that developed a prize-winning campaign for Burlington Coat Factory.  

Dolores was known for celebrating Christmas in a big way, with lots of decorations and beautifully wrapped presents for her family members.  She was a huge fan of Frank Sinatra and Hugh Jackman.  A devout Catholic, she was delighted that the Church now has an American Pope.

Dolores was predeceased by her former husband Frederick Liebl, her parents Gaetano and Olga Polino, and her siblings Joseph Polino, Antoinette (Polino) Raffa and Carl Polino.  

Dolores will be remembered as:

Devoted step-mother of Susan Stalb and her husband Bob.  Cherished step-grandmother of Kristen Zachariev and her husband Jay.  Proud step great-grandmother of Lucien Zachariev.  Loving aunt of Marissa Klapwald, her husband Alex, Monica Schneider and her husband Jeff.  Also survived by her great-nephews and a great-niece.

Dolores will be missed for her kind and gentle spirit.

A committal prayer service and burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover (section 29) on Saturday, October 4th at 10:30am.
