Dennis Paul Quinn, 83, passed away peacefully at his home on November 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving children.
Born in Blakely, Pennsylvania, Dennis was one of six children. At a young age, he moved with his family to Bloomfield, New Jersey. He worked his way through school and proudly graduated from Seton Hall University. Dennis spent his entire career of more than 30 years with Travelers Insurance Company, working his way up from his initial assignment as an administrative worker in the mailroom. Remembered for his professionalism, integrity, and good humor, he earned the deep respect and affection of all who worked with him.
Dennis and his beloved wife, Eileen, raised their family in West Caldwell and later retired to Barnegat in 2008. They cherished their years together and especially enjoyed spending winters in Marco Island, Florida, where they made many lasting friendships. After Eileen’s passing, and while facing illness himself, Dennis moved to The Delaney at the Green in Florham Park, where he received outstanding and compassionate care from the nurses and health aides who meant so much to him.
He faced a three-year battle with cancer with remarkable grace, strength, and a smile that never wavered. One of the greatest gifts he leaves behind to all who knew him is the enduring example of a devoted and faithful husband, father, and grandfather, whose life was defined by love, integrity, and steadfast dedication to his family.
Devoted father of Kerry Quinn, Timothy Quinn and his wife Jennifer, and Michael Quinn and his wife Zoe. Cherished grandfather of Kendall, Liam, and Raegan, and proud grandpa to four beloved granddogs. Dear brother of Charles, Robert, Nancy, and Barbara. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dennis was predeceased by his wife Eileen, his parents Joseph and Gertrude, and his brother Fred.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park, on Sunday, November 9th, from 1–4 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 10th, at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Florham Park.
